I am a PhD student in Genomics at the University of Manchester, funded by the International Partnership Scholarship with the University of Heidelberg. I am co-supervised by Nicoletta Bobola and Magnus Rattray. My research focuses on developing statistical methods to identify regulatory gene networks that define tissue identity during human embryonic development. I work with single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data, using Python-based pipelines and probabilistic modelling to study developmental processes and gene regulation in human tissues.

In the long term, I aim to uncover fundamental principles of gene regulation in human development through integrative and data-driven approaches. I am particularly interested in linking these mechanisms to developmental diseases at the molecular level. Ultimately, I hope to contribute to AI-driven and computational strategies that support regenerative medicine and more precise, mechanism-based therapies.
